Enthusiastic, soulful and obstinate would probably best describe Janina, a Berlin-born & based DJ, and above all, a pillar of the German electronic underground scene for more than 2 decades.
Having bought her first turntables in her early years, Janina built a deep knowledge of electronic music and developed a keen interest in vinyls, while working at the Berlin renowned DNS Record Store. Lively and full of curiosity, it was obvious to Janina that she will dedicate her time and energy to music when she discovered the BeatStreet parties and got her first Perlon Records as presents.
She was first acknowledged for her active residency at the needs-no-introduction Club der Visionäre. She developed over time, an impressive sharp ear, peerless technical skills, an asserted signature, despite continuously evolving music tastes. Now she holds a residency in the infamous Berlin Club, Tresor, and stepping up to open her own label.
